Transformation Log & Timber is a flexible, oil-based semi-transparent stain built specifically for bringing old, damaged, gray, and weathered logs back to life — which is exactly the condition of most Colorado log homes we're called to restore. In 26 years of staining log homes at altitude, from Summit and Park County to Grand County, it has earned its place as one of the finest restoration stains available. It penetrates to highlight the wood grain and finishes with a rich, glossy depth.
What makes it ideal for restoration work: it doesn't demand that you know what was on the wood before. Once we've properly prepped the surface — media blasting or sanding back to sound wood — Transformation goes over logs with unknown previous stains without compatibility surprises. Its longer working time also means no lap lines, even on big log walls.

Transformation Color Options
Fourteen colors from light golds to Dark Walnut. Screen colors are a digital representation — we stain sample boards on your actual logs so you can approve the real color in your light before we commit.
